February's Archives
  Weekly Tips from Brian James:
02.22 - 02.28
Most shrubbery will perform better for you if minor pruning is done 4 to 5 times a year; rather than a major pruning once a year. Remember to prune after flowering is done so you don't miss the big flowering.

  Weekly Tips from Brian James:
02.15 - 02.21
Black Spot is caused by the fungus Diplocarpon Rosae & only affects roses. Black spot developes when plant surfaces are moist, humidity is high and temperatures are in the upper 60's to lower 70's for several days. Early June host weather factors such as those mentioned.

  Weekly Tips from Brian James:
02.08 - 02.14
Early spring/late winter watering of evergreen trees will give you a much healthier plant. Evergreens never go totally dormant so a pail of water in February may look ridiculous to the neighbors but your trees will thank you.

  Weekly Tips from Brian James:
02.01 - 02.07
Plants that may require the same amount of water and share the same growing conditions should be grouped together.
