You will notice on each side of the 25'X25' concrete patio we built dry stacked stone retaining walls to terrace the ground & create flowerbeds and natural stone benches.

The first bottom wall on each side was 18" high with the top stone being at least 1'X1' or longer to cap the top and create the natural bench.

Then directly behind the cap stone, we started another wall to serve as a back rest as well as create the next level for a flowerbed. Each side consisted of 3 seperate levels for flowerbeds.
